1. How did you get into music?
Music was always just apart of me. Almost like second nature. I began playing piano at 4 years old, and then started singing in that same year. As i grew up, I grew into my music, and started to take it more seriously as I got older.
2. Who were your idols growing up?
I was very blessed in the sense, my parents introduced me to many different styles and artists growing up. But the ones that stook out most and who I idolized were, Etta James, Al Green, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.
3. Who were your influences?
I would say my parents and brother are my influence. They just love life, and are happy in everything they do, makes me want to do the same.
4. Are you happy with the responses from the music on the web?
Absolutely! I've recieved the best response from all the wonderful web outlets they have out for musicians. It's a great way for you to get a feel of what the public actually thinks of your music. They're truthful, and it all helps make your music better than it is. Plus, you never know who's on the web looking at you. Major labels have people on the web constantly looking for new artist. So I'm pleased with the response so far.
5. Do you have any releases in the pipeline?
I do, but they are still in contact works with lawyers, that I can't really talk about it now, but will update my website with the big news in 2 -3 weeks.
6. What inspired you to get into R&B Music?
Growing up I listened to a lot of Motown, and blues inspired music. So getting into the R&B scene was almost just a natural decision, since it's just a modern version of the music I grew up with.
7. Is hard being an independent artist in Canada?
It can be hard. The circle is just very small, and hard to get into. The only advantage canadian artist have, is our radio stations have to play a certain amount of canadian content, which allows more canadian artist to get their music played on the radio at least. Just like anywhere in the world, it has it's ups and downs, but you figure a way to make things work.

8. What has been the highlight so far?
Just getting the chance to write and perform with some of my idols, travelling the world, and having the opportunity to share my music with people all over the world.
9. Do you the internet has helped bands get noticed by labels and industry people?
Absolutely. Labels have people hired just to search the internet for undiscovered talent, because they finally realized how much talent really is out here on the internet, and are finally using these sites to their advantage.
10. Has it been hard to get noticed by labels in Canada?
Yes and no. I mean its personally the same anywhere. Canadian labels like you because you're canadian, other than that it's the same. It's all in how you manage and package yourself. Do you have what they're looking for and what makes you special?
11. If you could have any one in a video clip who would it be?
I would LOVE to have Stevie Wonder in a video clip. He's just such an amazing, and talented individual. I would be honored to have him in a video clip.
12. What is on your stereo at the moment?
Right how I have Lauryn Hills Acoustic CD in now. It's such an amazing album, so raw and artistic.
13. What are some of your favorite musical artists/bands?
Right now, i'm really loving old school Aerosmith and i'm really into, The Veronicas, Gavin Degraw, Mariana's Trench, Justin Timberlake, and Rascal Flats so many more.
14. What inspires you when write music and write lyrics?
Just living my life daily. Observing my surroundings, my family, my boyfriend, the future, the old man sitting on the bench watching people walk by, just everything and anything.
Thanks again for your time any last words
For all new musicians ready to jump into recording industry, there might be a lot of closing doors in the beginning, but I promise, eventually there'll be one door that'll stay open, and when it happens, all your hard work and all those closing doors will be worth it.
